Quibble Lit is a contemporary literature magazine publishing poetry, prose, and visual art.
Established in 2022, self-funded, & built by a collective of artists and volunteers, we curate a quarterly print volume and online galleries built around a theme, with the shared mission of making writing more meaningful.
With our latest installment — PEOPLE, our 7th print volume and 19th issue — Quibble Lit has published over 500 authors (and nearly 200 in print!)
In Spring of 2026, we launched Sunday SubDays: Quibble's Indie Lit Podcast, where we chat with editors, writers, publishers, and other warriors of words.
Submissions are free when open (JUNGLE arrives this summer!)
Published artists receive a Contributor’s Copy of the print issue.
Thank you for reading! If you’d like to support our mission, please consider following along on social media.
Quibble’s Indie Lit Podcast:
Sunday SubDays
Sunday SubDays is Quibble’s indie lit podcast for writers, readers, editors, and everyone still making room for literary life.
Each episode features conversations with poets, prose writers, editors, publishers, contributors, and Quippy Award voices about craft, submissions, process, publishing, rejection, momentum, and the work behind the work.
Part interview series, part submit-along, part behind-the-scenes look at independent literature — with enough warmth, candor, and mischief to keep the bickering alive.
ARCHIVE
The Ps&Qs Audio Poem Awards recognizes exceptional poems that thrive through breath, cadence, presence, and performance—work that embodies the irreplaceable intimacy of the spoken word.
