Names escape into the night,
a car's headlights cascade upon the painted
wall reflecting emotions.
Colors soar absorbing the light of the moon,
spirits reach heights that a mural welcomes
with open arms.
Sounds overlap as one tries to make sense
of the senseless. We see in the dark what
remains invisible in the daylight hours.
Someone shouts a name embracing it
as one. The repetition gives it a heartbeat that
is alive among the many.
